<p>This video is about social media and the optimal times to post on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.</p>
<p>You probably already post to Facebook already&#8230; right? A lot of people do because there is almost 100,000 people on Facebook.</p>
<p>And you might even send out some Tweets on Twitter to promote your business.</p>
<p>Or an occasional video on YouTube. A lot of people do that and are very successful at it.</p>
<p>But do you know how many times per day you SHOUD be posting to these sites to make money?</p>
<p>Or&#8230; are you just leaving it to blind optimism&#8230;. kind of like I was.</p>
<p>Your not alone&#8230;. I didn’t know this valuable information either until recently. And the information will shock you!</p>
<p>Let’s start with Facebook.<span id="more-2635"></span></p>
<p>You should post no more than three times per day on Facebook. If you’re posting on your business Fan Page, make sure you stay on or around your topic.</p>
<p>Don’t get too carried away&#8230;. for instance&#8230;.don’t post about what you had for dinner if your Fan Page is about your insurance business. That just makes sense.</p>
<p>Next let’s discuss Twitter. Oh&#8230; the beautiful Tweetie Bird.</p>
<p>The optimal amount of posts on Twitter per day is between eight and eighteen times.</p>
<p>It sounds like a lot but I automate everything and can show you how to do the same thing&#8230;.. it’s not that difficult.</p>
<p>Just go to module seven, named Traffic, in The Guru Hub members area. And don’t worry&#8230; it’s all free&#8230; we won’t charge you a dime.</p>
<p>Ninja Tip Alert&#8230;. Ninja Tip Alert&#8230;.. I love the flames!</p>
<p>Sixteen to eighteen tweets should link to “other” websites, not your own! That really surprised the heck out of me.</p>
<p>Say what? There the old guy.</p>
<p>In order to build trust you can begin by being an aggregator of valuable information for your followers. Help them cut through the clutter and the noise.</p>
<p>Now let’s talk about YouTube. You should post video’s to YouTube probably three time per week is optimal. We are going to wear out that three number aren’t we.</p>
<p>Now&#8230; I know that sounds like a lot of work&#8230; specially on youTube. Just remember to keep your video’s short and to the point.</p>
<p>Focus on small details inside a larger topic. This will help you out tremendously.</p>
<p>You should have no problem posting three video’s per week if you do this.</p>
<p>If not&#8230; just do what you can. Cause remember&#8230; something is better than nothing!</p>
<p>So let’s review,</p>
<p>Post on Facebook no more than three times daily.</p>
<p>Eight to eighteen tweets per day on Twitter is optimal.</p>
<p>And three YouTube video’s per week is where you want to be.</p>

<p>Previously, Twitter has used this space to display links to its own services and Twitter-related third-party tools and services, but now it’s showing pure ads that take you to sites such as <a rel="nofollow" href="http://abcnews.go.com/International/Royal_Wedding/">ABC News</a> or <a rel="nofollow" href="http://drafttwitter.nfl.com/">NFL.com</a>.<span id="more-2434"></span></p>
<p>Interestingly enough — as noted by Labnol — Twitter does not use the “nofollow” tag or disclose the fact that these are ads at all, except by defining them under the CSS class “promo,” which is visible only if you look at the HTML code.</p>
<p>Twitter has been experimenting with several different ad formats and possible revenue streams in the past year or so, adding ads to the individual <a rel="nofollow" href="http://mashable.com/2010/11/01/twitter-ads-come-to-the-stream/">user streams</a> in November and letting select customers <a rel="nofollow" href="http://mashable.com/2010/12/15/twitter-turn-key-advertising/">advertise</a> through Promoted Tweets, Trends or Products. The text ads on the homepage probably aren’t as important for Twitter as other ad formats, but the company is methodically trying every possible advertising avenue to figure out what works best.</p>

<p><a rel="nofollow" href="http://mashable.com/tag/evernote" target="_blank">Evernote</a>, a startup in the midst of migrating from a single-person memory aide to a social note-taking platform, is releasing a new version of Evernote for Mac on Tuesday with Twitter and Facebook note-sharing features and new audio recording functionality.<span id="more-2189"></span></p>
<p>Evernote for Mac version 2.1 now includes a Share button in the menu bar that introduces Post to Twitter, Post to Facebook and additional sharing options.</p>
<p>The social posting options, replicas of the note-sharing functions added to the <a rel="nofollow" href="http://mashable.com/2011/03/29/evernote-web-redesign/">web client</a> and <a rel="nofollow" href="http://mashable.com/2011/04/19/evernote-android-release/">Android app</a> in past weeks, give users a way to invite friends to view and collaborate on notes.</p>
<p>Perhaps more exciting, for Evernote users with journalistic tendencies at least, is that the new release introduces a reporter-friendly feature intermixed in the mobile applications but not yet included in the desktop experience — audio recording.</p>

<p>Users can now select the Audio Note microphone icon to attach audio to notes. Upon clicking the icon, a new window will appear — pinned to the top of the note — with audio controls that enable the note-taker to simultaneously record audio and enter text.</p>
<p>Audio Notes are available to all users. Free users are allocated a total note size of 25 MB (up to two hours of audio recording), while Premium users get 50 MB per note (up to four hours of audio recording).</p>
<p>Evernote has promised that the new release also brings with it faster search speeds and bug fixes.</p>

<p><a rel="nofollow" href="http://mashable.com/tag/tweetdeck/" target="_blank">TweetDeck</a>, one of the most popular third party mobile Twitter apps, has released a major update to its iPhone app.</p>
<p>The new version, 2.0, has been rebuilt from scratch, TweetDeck says. It brings a completely new design, iOS4 compatibility, support for gestures, swipe-friendly navigation and full customization of the columns.<span id="more-2157"></span></p>
<p>This last feature is perhaps the most interesting for advanced users, as it lets them fully customize the columns: for example, users can have a column that displays results from a Twitter search, direct messages from a specific account and a Facebook news feed, all in one.</p>
<p>TweetDeck 2.0 also brings a number of minor tweaks, such as the ability to view the full conversation in tweet details, adding any feed as a column with one touch or sending long tweets via the built-in support for <a rel="nofollow" href="http://deck.ly">Deck.ly</a>.</p>

<p><strong>Facebook:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Facebook has well over 400 million</strong> registered members and over half of them log in every day. That is an incredible pull and one that you should take advantage of. <p><strong>Facebook also allows you to create</strong> a full, in depth profile which allows you to create an “About” section for yourself and your business. Plus, you can view and upload photos. <p><strong>You can also add friends</strong>, join causes, join groups, and become a fan of other people and businesses pages.</p>
<p><strong>One of the draw backs is you</strong> cannot add a large amount of friends at once or send a large amount of messages at one time but you can do a status update which will be posted on all your friends home pages.</p>
<p><strong>There are also numerous promotion</strong> tools that can drive a huge amount of traffic if used properly.  Group pages, Fan pages and other tools can really have a fast and positive impact on your business.</p>
<p>You can leave your profile public so that anyone can view your page and information.</p>
<p><strong>Twitter:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Twitter allows you to create a user profile,</strong> but it is not as in depth as Facebook. With Twitter, you have to “follow” an individual before you can read their updates which s fine but you can add a large amount of followers fairly easily.</p>
<p><strong>Twitter also allows you to update your status</strong> as many times as you would like, but so does Facebook so there is no real advantage there.</p>
<p><strong>There are not as many promotion tools</strong> and opportunities as there are on Facebook but it is designed for short bursts of information.</p>
<p><strong>To conclude the debate,</strong> if you are trying to decide whether joining Facebook or Twitter would be best for your business, then Facebook wins the match hands down. Facebook may seem a little more complicated than Twitter, but this is only because there is much more to Facebook. This means that there are more opportunities and the best option for businesses that are looking to jump on the bandwagon and take their business to the social networking websites.</p>
<p>But join both and reap the benefits of each.</p>
